    We are seeking exceptional scientists who are excited about working in a small dynamic company on the cutting-edge drug discovery. Our unique antibody discovery technology means that you will have access to an early stage therapeutic pipeline that is inaccessible anywhere else. You will join a team that works together to discover, characterise and develop lead antibodies to scientifically, commercially and medically meaningful end points. The position will combine lab based work with the designing of preclinical development plans for our lead oncology asset. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your career, and to contribute to the shape of the company going forward.

    Responsibilities

    • Developing and conducting cellular assays with both cancer cell lines and primary tumour cells
    • Designing experiments to characterise antibodies and their functional activities in a variety of assays
    • Developing work plans to characterise and progress lead oncology antibodies
    • Establishing and maintianing relationships with key collaborators and contract research organisations
    • Designing in vivo oncology studies, coordinating their execution and analysing results
    • Contributing ideas including regular presentation and reporting on project
    • Bringing energy to our team to maintain our positive company culture

    You should have:

    • A PhD in a relevant discipline involving laboratory work
    • Experience working with preclinical oncology models
    • Experience with testing molecules in murine cancer models
    • Relevant lab experience including working with cellular assays
    • Ability to design and plan programs of work
    • Enthusiasm for, and commitment to, research on disease biology and/or drug discovery
    • Evidence of excellent organisational and interpersonal skills including:
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Ability to work efficiently with a strong attention to detail
      • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends if required
      • Good problem-solving skills
      • Strong IT skills
