• Project Manager

    We are seeking experienced project managers with a strong background in science who are excited about working in a small dynamic company on the cutting-edge drug discovery. Our unique antibody discovery technology means that you will have access to an early stage therapeutic pipeline that is inaccessible anywhere else. You will join a team that works together to discover, characterise and develop lead antibodies to scientifically, commercially and medically meaningful end points. Your work will involve establishing and managing relationships with contract research organisations, as well as working with our internal scientists to progress our lead programmes from discovery, through pre-clinical proof-of-concept and into IND-enabling studies. You will have to coordinate complex projects and interpret information from a range of sources. This will require excellent managerial, organisational, logistical and analytical skills, as well as an ability to communicate effectively by telephone and in writing.


    • Coordinate contracted research
      • Establish relationships with key contract research organisation
      • Devise work plans, budgets and timelines for technical work
      • Effectively manage contractors to deliver projects on time
      • Manage international contractors remotely
    • Project management
      • Oversee external and internal projects to ensure overall goals are being met
      • Managing logistics including biological shipments
    • Programme Design
      • Creating workplans for antibody development
      • Identifying key technical milestones and proposing solutions
    • Contributing ideas
      • Regular presentation and reporting on project progress and outcomes
      • Assessing new technologies and opportunities for programme development
    • Contributing ideas including regular presentation and reporting on project
    • Bringing energy to our team to maintain our positive company culture

    You should have:

    • Project management experience in life sciences R&D
    • Experience working with contract research organisations
    • Enthusiasm for, and commitment to, research on disease biology and/or drug discovery
    • Evidence of excellent organisational and interpersonal skills including:
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Ability to work efficiently with a strong attention to detail
      • Strong communication skills, especially by phone and email
      • Good problem-solving skills
      • Strong IT skills
